I'm still in my free trial. When do the monthly charges begin?

Your monthly membership charges begin once your 14-day free trial ends.

Email & Deliverability

Why do my emails come from [email protected], and how do I keep them out of spam?

Right now, emails send through our shared system address rather than your own. To help your automations stay out of spam, the recipient can add your address to their contacts, adjust their Gmail settings, or reply to your email.

On the sender address: our development team is building a feature that will let emails send directly from each agent’s own email address rather than from [email protected]. We’ll notify all users once it’s rolled out.

Why isn't my email automation (or 7-day automation test) sending?

The most common cause is a missing email subject line. Open your automation and confirm a subject line was entered for each email. Without one, the email won’t send.

How do I view my sent emails in Assist?

Open a specific lead card and check the Email Activity section, or review sent messages in the Stats area of your email automations and broadcasts.

How do I link my social media to the icons in my email signature?

Go to your email templates, select your theme, and update your social media widgets there. Those widgets feed the icons in your signature.

Importing & Managing Contacts

How do I upload my contacts with a CSV?

Follow our step-by-step CSV import tutorial here: [CSV importer tutorial link]

Can I add multiple deals or addresses to one contact, or merge contact cards?

At this time, you can’t add multiple addresses to a single contact card. We’d suggest adding extra property addresses in the description field, or, to track totals like commission and sales per deal, creating a separate contact card for each transaction.

On merging cards: our development team has this on its list of future feature roll-outs, though there’s no timeline yet. We’ll keep you updated if and when it becomes available.

What are "Subcontacts," and are they duplicates?

Subcontacts are additional people linked to a main contact card, such as a spouse or partner. They are not duplicates, so they’re safe to keep.

How do I add a client as both a Seller and a Buyer?

A single contact card can’t be both. Best practice is to create two separate cards, one Seller card and one Buyer card, for that client.

Where do I find the notes I added when I first created a contact?

They’re stored in the description/notes section of that lead’s contact card.

Automations & Workflows

Can I trigger an email automation for leads I add manually?

Yes. You can set up your automation so manually added leads are entered into the sequence. Here’s a walkthrough :[How to trigger an email automation tutorial]

Can I customize automation triggers, for example trigger an email flow by a tag instead of a column change?

At this time, customized triggers aren’t a capability within the system.

Calendar & Meetings

How do I connect my Google Calendar?

Your account is connected to the email you signed up with. To connect Google Calendar, go to the Meetings tab and click Connect.

There's no availability showing on my calendar or booking link. Why?

A time zone must be selected for your availability to display. Go to Settings > Profile, set your time zone, then re-check the link.

Can I use Apple Calendar?

Assist syncs with Google Calendar, not Apple/iCloud directly. The workaround is to connect your Google account inside your Apple Calendar app, so Google (and Assist) events flow into Apple Calendar both ways.

On iPhone or iPad:

  1. Open your device Settings.
  2. Tap Calendar > Accounts.
  3. Select Add Account and choose Google.
  4. Sign in to your Google account.
  5. Make sure the Calendars toggle is on, then tap Save.

On Mac:

  1. Open System Settings.
  2. Select Internet Accounts.
  3. Choose Google and sign in.
  4. Check the box for Calendars.

Tip: When you create a new event you want synced, save it to your Google calendar (not the iCloud default), or it won’t reach Assist.

Can the meetings funnel link to Outlook, or is it Google only?

The meetings funnel connects through Google. From there, you can copy your Google Calendar URL into Outlook so your meetings show up there as well.

How do I create to-dos or tasks for clients, and where do I view upcoming ones?

Assign due dates directly within a client’s lead card, or use the To Dos calendar to view and manage upcoming tasks.

Integrations & Roadmap

Can I connect Zapier or set up a webhook to push my database into Assist?

Assist has limited Zapier support and doesn’t currently support webhooks. As an alternative, we offer a pooling feature. Contact support and we’ll help you set it up.

Can I Zapier project management tools like Monday into Assist?

Our Zapier integration is limited. It can send contact info into another system, but it doesn’t fully populate or track information back inside Assist+. For those tools, we’d suggest keeping them separate for now.

What is the MCP server URL to connect Assist CRM to Claude.ai?

Connecting Assist to Claude.ai via an MCP server URL isn’t supported at this time, though it’s on our development roadmap.

Is there an Assist mobile app?

Not yet, but it’s on our feature roadmap, hopefully within the year. In the meantime, you can use Assist on your mobile device. It works best in Google Chrome on your phone. We’ll update all users once an app is available.

Can Assist schedule social media or recurring posts?

Not at this time. Assist runs on its own private server and doesn’t currently offer social media scheduling or recurring posts.
